The MARCH ISSUE is available this week!
Risky Business
We’re getting down to business—the business of shining a light on the risk takers, movers and shakers who’ve rolled up their sleeves and braved mental, physical and financial exhaustion for the sake of autonomy. Since a location that is extremely desirable for both lifestyle and abundance of employment opportunities is the stuff of mythology, we take our third annual look at the curious and ever-evolving entrepreneur. We made a call for entrepreneurs in the rediviva weekly email* and were so impressed by the volume and range of submissions. If we weren’t able to include you in this issue—don’t worry; we know who you are and where you work and we’ll track you down.
A campaign to spend locally offers more than a sense of local pride: An exposed gap in local offerings is an opportunity in the making (Hello, Indian food?). This publication emerged through the need to culturally connect the various and diverse communities of the Columbia Gorge. Lest this particular issue sniff of “advertorial” content, the intent of rediviva has always been to filter global issues through a local lens. As technology enables a global economy to dominate, history shows us that quality of life can only be preserved if kept in the hands of those who experience it. So holler with your dollar because we gotta love our own—live local or (this lifestyle will) die.
*rediviva weekly is how 2,000+ locals find out what’s going on with events, art, culture, food and happy hours each Thursday. To sign up for the email (it’s free!) or to post your own event, visit redivivamag.com.
